JAM Video Photo
Hi there! I'm John and I work out of the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelpharea and make trips down to Toronto and Hamilton! If you are on my page and are not in these areas, feel free to reach out and see what we can work out as I do like to travel as well!
I have been an amateur photographer since about 2005, deciding to take it a bit more seriously by starting my own business in 2024!

As you will see below, I have had my photos featured with many of the bands on their social media pages including Apricity, Econoline Crush, Dead Daisies, local favourites Up To Here, and more!
I've also had the pleasure to work with Adrian Raso, a mentor of mine for my music endeavours and big supporter of local musicians. His association with Godin guitars gave me the opportunity to work with him for a new line of guitar, which had a short video featured their Instagram feed right next to Robert Trujillo (honestly it was just a coincidence but a nice one!)

Being a musician myself, I bring a little more to the table than most photographers. Knowing the ins and outs of critical moments both behind and in front of stage, I feel I excel at knowing what to do in those moments. I can be interactive as much or as little as you'd like, I am very flexible and understanding of your space at your show. The more I work with you the more I will get used to your style, and repeat call-outs will be that much better!
The aesthetic for my live band photography has a bit of artistic licence to make even the smallest venues seem massive, which I attain through some specialty lenses and photo edits! You can have a look at my style shown below!
I've spoken a lot about band photography here but I also branch out into product photography, head shots, pets and more!
Look forward to hearing from you!
John
